Institutional Development Plan (IDP)

A strategic roadmap for transforming Jagannath Barooah University into a center of excellence, aligned with the National Education Policy 2020.

A Vision for the Future

The Institutional Development Plan (IDP) for Jagannath Barooah University is a comprehensive document that outlines our strategic direction. It was prepared during the pivotal transition from an autonomous college to a full-fledged university. The plan is deeply rooted in the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, focusing on creating a liberal, multi-disciplinary, and research-intensive academic environment. Our primary priority is to implement the NEP 2020 in both letter and spirit, ensuring our programmes not only reduce social disparity but also promote employability for our students.
